So £520 for a mint kit with a rolled poster?

Gone are the days of Violent Ken selling for £1000+ with a folded poster then. :eh:

Here's how I did my breakdown, correct me if I'm wrong:

Progear board - £200
Opening comic flyer - £150
Remaining artset (manual/marquee/movestrip)- £70
CPS2 box - £30
Minty Rolled Poster- £200

Total £650, but in complete kit form £800 is more what I was thinking in terms of value. Complete guesstimate based around values I paid and have seen things paid for, which is really why I asked here.

Not that any of it matters, I'm keeping forever. Just always good to know what its worth. ;)

The value is mainly based on what I paid for mine, £650 with the promo flyer & what pang sold his for £500-600 (I don't think he included the poster) it might even be less than that

and both were around for a long time. If a buyer throws up a wtb thread, then you might more, but progear kits don't appear to be in high demand.

IMO the opening story isn't worth £150, £100 ish. You don't see many rolled posters for sale, but again I think £200 is optmistic in this climate. Unless you put it to the test by selling we might never know :)

You're right skykid, the rolled poster does bump it up, I missed that. I was going on what I sold mine for. £650 would be a good guess. Hard to tell though, these things depend entirely on demand.

Kinda stupid that considering he said one was sold last week for £50 and was up for 2 weeks and i happen to buy it .

So price is worth £50 not £150 unless your buying then its yours for £150
Yeah, BUT the only sale that happened here on AO was for a Version L. Do any other versions catch different prices?

I love it too much, best Cave Hori I reckon. :awe:

YHJ dictates otherwise apparently, and I've heard it can even more than that. Mental isn't it?
Mine is literally factory new, too.

Anyways, thanks for the help there dudes, a shame to hear there's not much love for Progear, demand seems to rise and fall regularly with this one. I personally think it's cocking amazing. :D

Orginal ghouls and ghost £200-£250 if your lucky
copy £175-£200

Strider £125.00

These two are really hard to find, i think maybe its best to look on Yahoo Japan.

OK my new supplier has sen t me very exiting news today.

"in 4 weeks I will have a container docking with 38 'fully' refurbished sega cabs - Astro City, New Astro City and Blast City - I also have just taken stock of 400 29" tubes and monitors capable of any res so they are ready too "

He has hot back to me with prices : £495/£595/and £795

Knowing him these would not include any delivery.

Been new to these Uuuuber cabs, it would seem to me that the prices are a little High?
I'm after a couple 1 tate and one hoz, but only play the older jamma games pre-2000, will the Astro City suit my needs, ? Blast city be over Kill.
please advise as i am only a young padowin learner.....

If they are truly fully refurbed those prices are good. Would need photos.

So... who's doing a bulk order?

Pics will come shortly, he is not telling me at the mo, how where he is going to sell them (apart from mine)

"I have photos of them post re-build and they look in mint condition - really some of the best that I have seen"

so will have to see, finger crossed
