So, you have claim to have carefully restored a Space Invaders cab. What do you do next? Put a PC monitor in and fill the panel full of buttons of course!

I like the concept. I think this could be good with a complete redesign and without the day-glo blue. In fact, imagine if Sega did a Swing with an LCD panel and a normal sized 2p CP.

and yet its been bid up to over £100 with more than a day left. I think one of the biggest problems with mame is that so many many people get hooked up on the idea of playing the games any way they can without thinking about how the cabinet can make such a difference to the whole experience. If you want to play the games 'as you remember them' then you need a cabinet that looks exactly like a proper arcade unit, not a 10" monitor shoved into a coffee table....
