Noob question about dismantling an Astro City

Post by drdread »

Hi,
could anyone tell me how easy it is to dismantle an Astro City to fit through a 29" door? Can the control panel be taken off like the one on Egret cabinets? I have seen a thread on the forum that says that New Astro City cabinets can be taken apart easily, but have not been able to find any information about dismantling an Astro City.

NO

You cannot remove the CP - you have to remove the front of the cab as the Lower part of the CP is part of the front panel (same as the Windy-II)

basically, the front and rear split into two and its quite easy to get through doorways that are tight with a bit of forward planning and angles! :D

All you need is a screwdriver and om time and it come apart and back together very easy due to thefact that the Astros are so well put together in the first place IMO. :)
