Hello! I’m Trenton, I’m mainly here to expand my search range for the original arcade Monkey Ball. I would be very happy to find it in its dedicated cabinet, or (probably more likely) find a candy cab, the marvelous banana joystick, and other hardware required for the game! I actually found this forum by searching most recent Google results for Monkey Ball Arcade, and finding another persons post in search of the joystick funny enough.
Getting back into the hobby/collecting aspect of arcade hardware after nearly 20 years. Considering my options for an SD cab setup be it finding a good deal on a vintage unit, picking up a contemporary recreation like the Nova Blast, or going the DIY route.
Hi I’m Lee been playing arcade games since 1990 I used to have a old account but lost access to email address got myself a arcade otaku ashtray from years ago been away due to rising kids but I’m back
Hello, back here after somewhat years without arcadestuff.
Finally stable enough again and recently purchased a Sega NAC.
Feels good to be back in the game again.
I’m Matt and interested in owning my first cab, sega and capcom fanboy so looking for an astro city / blast city candy cab after a recent trip to Japan. Any tips/suggestions on where to look greatly appreciated!
I'm currently wracking my brain training to figure out an arcade lock type and how to find or have a new key created for it. The cabinet I have came locked without any key and as a collector, I don't want to have to resort to any destructive methods unless absolutely necessary.
Other than that, I'm a lifelong gamer, not so much in arcades, but I have been in my fair share of them all throughout the 90's as a kid. I'm a major Mega Man enthusiast and collector and it'd one day be super nice to own a Mega Man The Power Fighter's cabinet.
I'd like to post in the hardware section of this forum in hopes someone can help me out but for whatever reason, I can't do that. Figure I have to post here first so that's what I'm doin'!

Welcome, MegaMac!
Regarding your lock—if you're referring to a specific machine from a known manufacturer, like Sega or Taito, you might be able to source a replacement key from various sellers or even eBay.
If it’s a more generic “woody” cab rather than an American build like a Midway, you might have less luck. In that case, you’ll likely need to drill out the existing lock and replace it.
If you're using the cab at home and aren't too concerned about high security, there are plenty of replacement lock options available that should do the job just fine.
Greetings to all the forum, I am an Italian guy, I have been working in the entertainment equipment sector since the 90s, I have always dealt with technical assistance for casinos and arcades. I hope there will be an opportunity to share our experiences and skills.

Hi there y'all, I'm from Atlanta and have been collecting pinball and arcade stuff for years. Currently for candy cabs I have one Aero City along with two more Aeros on the way.
Hello! Im Garrett. Long story short, found an Aero City cab on the side of the road. Since I've been wanting a candy cab for a while, I took it home. The CRT was in great shape, so I decided to recap the board. I'm looking forward to being able to post on the Monitor Q&A to get some help.
I'm Abi, I own Snow Phoenix, a traveling arcade from Ohio. I've been importing Japanese cabs since 2016~
I've got a lot of cabs lmao there's a good chance if you've ventured into the music game side we've interacted at some point
I don't know why I didn't have an account here before now tbch
