I’m playing ‘classic’ rather than remastered, as remastered changes the way formations work (if I remember rightly?!)

It still looks great. Sounds amazing. Brilliant story.

Reviews for HW3 are bad. Such a shame

Been waiting for a Switch copy of Outer Wilds to show up at a reasonable price for a long time, finally got one this week. Knew nothing about it other than comments saying how good it is, and to avoid spoilers at all costs.

As luck would have it I've had plenty of free time to get stuck in thjs week. I'm about five hours in, I wouldn't want to estimate how long it might take to get through though it doesn't feel like a 100+ hour monster. Thoroughly enjoying it so far, and I'm going to continue the no spoiler thing. All I'll say is it has a lot in common with a good point and click adventure, despite not being one.

Haven't seen it mentioned on here, it's well worth a mention.

Still working through it slowly. Shouldn't be too much of a spoiler to say there's a hard time cap to it, and this motivates me to look for a chunk of free time that matches a play through. There's also no RNG luck which gives a good focus, I know it's entirely my skill or lack thereof that gets me ahead.

Reviews for HW3 are bad. Such a shame

This morning, I put about 45 minutes (maybe an hour) into a particular level, was starting to get somewhere, and it crashed. Just completely died... Just like games often did nearly 30 years ago.

Anyway, far from being annoyed, I was genuinely quite pleased that I could play the level again and learn from my mistakes! I honestly real life smiled at the thought of starting again.

How many current era games make people feel that way??
