I cant believe they picked up tattoo assassins, WHY comes to mind, there must be a million dead IPs to choose from, i guess infamy counts in the grand scheme of things too..
Thanks, I'll do that.

I’m still really hoping for Black Finger Jet eXa. I’d love Metal Slug 8 of course, but as a lot of the OG devs are on BFJ it’s probably the closest we’ll ever get. That’s plenty.

I’ve considered getting involved in eXa for a while, and BFJ would tip it I reckon.
Aka & Blue was really fun when I tried it, Demon Front is an excellent move, and the Cave games aren’t any dearer than OG PCBs.

Edit: not for the first time, seems I’ve made basically the same post just a few months apart. I’m clearly a very dull man!
While I’m here though, any likelihood of a LE DF motherboard?

Edit 2: my basic research suggests the motherboard is natively compatible with a Windy 2 @31khz. Very cool!
Can someone who has used it on both a CRT and flat screen tell me whether you still get the full experience at 31kHz?
@SuperPang , pretty sure I remember you already telling me this some time ago, but I can’t find it…

The hardware doesn't have analogue video out but that's solved with a simple DVI/HDMI to VGA converter (Digital to Analogue Converter).

The experience is going to depend on the game's native resolution and aspect ratio. The vertical shmups will be grand, as will the 4:3 fighters. I have several games that look better on the NNC than the Vewlix.

Demon Front should work well unless the new mode is widescreen. If that's the case, it'll most likely be like Akai Katana, whereby the original mode runs in 4:3 and the new modes are letterboxed.

You'll want to use an LCD for BFJ.

Has anyone else with Air Gallet found that sometimes their scores aren't saved to the all time table?

I'm speculating here, but the hardware seems to have a bit of a lengthy save routine. Haven't had a game this sensitive since A&B, though. I didn't turn it off straight away.

Yes, we've been discussing it in Discord.
It's supposedly fixed in version 1.0.1, alongside stutters in the game select menu.

Since A&B, I got into the habit of religiously exiting to the game select menu before shutting down my cab, so I haven't noticed the issue.

For users on 1.0.0, make sure to exit the game before shutting off the power. This has been fixed in 1.0.1 which started shipping out from last week.

It’s not coming out any time soon.

Also, just for clarification, it’s stylized as exA.

I was doing that when I was having trouble with A&B. I'll start being more cautious. Thanks.

Great. Thanks. Will send some carts out for update in a couple of weeks. Don't want to be without AG right now as I'm having too much fun! It's a top 5 title for me.

Did they mention what extra features earthion is supposed to have, and/or when it's released in comparison with the PC and console versions?

Could you kindly send me a DM, Mr. Chung? I am new to these forums and can't figure it out as clicking on your username or avatar simply does nothing. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
Quick question for USA members having Exa Arcadia kits bought and delivered to their residence recently. I want to buy some kits from the Exa website and was wondering if they get dinged badly for duty taxes and tariffs. I’m trying to figure out how much it’s going to range through DHl and how long it takes. If anybody has ordered any games in the USA from website. I’m curious how the process went. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Joey

They don't. I wouldn't worry about this.

I personally use EMS to the UK for all my orders. Usually arrives in a week or less.

They have to worry now, because of the recent changes surrounding de minimis exemptions in the USA. I suspect this is why they are asking.

Anything marked as "Made in China" can be hit with absolutely whopping amounts of taxes (upwards of 50-100%), regardless of the country it is shipped from.

My understanding is that Exa may or may not be declaring lower value on shipments, which should help, but it may still be a deal breaker for buyers with tight budgets.

Imagine being such a colossal ****-up that the effects of your retarded policies are even talked about on an arcade forum... this nonsense is so monumentally stupid that it defies belief.
