I remember going down to Quad service in Huntingdon & the guy there saying its all a load of bollox as when you get down to the internal speaker wire its horse hair thick so any fancy & thick before that makes no difference.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, they have some great techs. just had the ESL57’s serviced and rebuilt back to original spec.
