Mystery non-jamma board

Post by keropi »

Hiya!

I got a lot of "mystery arcade boards" that turned out to be slot boards, like these :
http://edgeemu.net/details-3378.htm
http://edgeemu.net/details-15489.htm
plus some "super shanghai" slots game ... but I also got this board with them , a "MSR Electronics LTD 1993" from Canada and the board is a "QH REV 2"

I dumped 2 eproms, they don't match any game... most likely another slot pcb but maybe it's something else? Slim chances but you never know
This is another useless lot for me, only good to harvest parts... :lolno:

TIA !

P8275 = programmable CRT controller, cusom "i do everything" chip marked "2001" (a space odissey?), plus the J1 connector which really looks like a CCTALK bus for note acceptors and coin hoppers. IMHO very likely a slot.
Also, the board is imprinted with "MSR electronics ltd.". A quick lookup on google comes up with this: http://www.msrelectronics.com/?page_id=17
Meh. Boring. :P
My 15kHz cabinet Peplos will never power up, with any item, and I am quite proud of that.

My brother... I've been looking for these damn ROMS for the past 10 years... Also i have a load of operator manuals for a lot of slot machines, Super Shanghai included. Is it possible to send a copy of the Rom my way? Damn shame if they became lost media!
