Nanao MS9 Chassis on Nanao 25“ Tube
Have read in Zak‘s Canary thread that people have put a MS-9 Chassis on a Nanao 25“ Tube without modifications, so plug and play, is this correct? Cause I struggle with my MS8-25FAR Chassis and have a spare MS9 Chassis lying around

Re: Nanao MS9 Chassis on Nanao 25“ Tube
I had a Nanao 25" tube (it had no yoke). Literally just the tube.LarsVegas wrote: March 14th, 2025, 8:54 pm Have read in Zak‘s Canary thread that people have put a MS-9 Chassis on a Nanao 25“ Tube without modifications, so plug and play, is this correct? @grantspain paired it with an MS9 chassis. I imagine that he had to change the yoke too. It's been almost 9 years

I can't remember if he used the yoke from the burnt tube or had a spare donor in his workshop.

Maybe @grantspain can confirm what he did 9 years ago.

I am sure the ms9-29 will work, just the yoke connector for the vertical will need to be replaced. The heater resistor may need to be changed

Thanks guys! Then I will try it, when my last hope doesn’t work out with the 25FAR Chassis.
