I would like one too, have both games on my Japanese Wii, although I think only one came out in the arcade.

I kinda regret not getting one over ten years ago. I can't remember the seller but there was a load being sold off for about £250 each iirc.

£500 today wouldn't be that bad considering.

Is it a crt or a modern game, would it look any good on a Noir?

I believe it's 640x480 with a progressive/interlace switch, so ideal on a 31khz CRT but decent enough on 15khz or LCD.

[edit] I might be making that up about the 15k switch.

For LCD cabs you can also set it to widescreen in the service menu.

👀 :P

I was trying not to go too lowball, but if I’m honest I actually think they trend towards a little high rather than a little low…
But about right

I’m actually interested in Windjammers and Soccer Brawl, but it’d be poor form to suggest prices of twenty quid each for my own nefarious ends :lolno:

No Zupapa in this list… it continues to elude me :problem:
I've a bootleg of it if that kind of thing interests you?

Took me a while to get a legit one at a decent price recently. seems over the last few years there was loads about then..... nothing. Ganryu was the hardest one I had to find. Had a couple of duff FB sales for it but got there eventually.

Appreciate the offer, but no bootlegs for me.
How much did Ganryu set you back?!

That’s one I really want to put some time into. Lovely looking game.

fair enough. I only got it cos it was £20 or something like that off a guy on FB while I was waiting for an orig to pop up.

Ganryu, I think once postage and customs / taxes were all in it was about £800. Thought I'd missed my chance as about a year earlier I'd bought it off a guy in a FB group from the states for £500 then when it turned up it was just a MV1B board. went straight back to the messages, screenshotted it all etc and tried contacting him. no reply. tried again after a few days, still nothing. Was odd as he was a trusted seller but I just thought he was pulling a fast one for some cash knowing I'd get it back through Paypal. After me posting it on the groups that he ghosted me and scammed me he popped up about a month later and turns out he got the jail and his mrs has posted the 2 items for him and had got them mixed up. He got the cart back and offered it to me, for more money I might add, but once bitten twicer shy so i didn't bother. didn't expect to ever see it pop up for half decent money again but it did thankfully.

I've 4 to get for a full set: Bang Bead, Metal Slug 5, Pochi & Nyaa and Samurai Shodown 5 Special. I can see Bang Bead or MS5 being the final game in the set as I've currently got a couple of hookups for the other 2 at decent prices, just haven't quite got the money for them at the moment.

yeah NG collecting, I've found over the years that it can really bring out the crazies. Some folk get so obsessed with the tiniest little thing and a japanese P&N cart always seems to be less desirable than a US/EUR one, so thats what I've got my eye on. each to their own though.

I've not been too fussed as long as the boards are orig. I reckon a good 20-30 of my carts are from Aliexpress. There was a seller there that had a bundle of stuff for much cheapness a few years back and all board pics were there so i rinsed them for it. good chunk of those carts were filthy though, they've been properly stuck in a machine at the back of some smoky arcade for 25 years. The cotton buds after the cleaning the contacts on the boards were Vanta black when I was done with them.

It’s a rare one for sure, this is one I wish I hadn’t sold.

Metal Slug 5 kit I was trying to sell for £100 for about a year, no one wanted it.. now it seems that ones rare too.

£100???? sheesh! How long ago was that though?

I'm not into kits but I'll take them when the price is on par with a cart.

Good question I should check, I bought it new from Shawn at neo-geo.com.

He was knocking them out cheap, all the last releases were so cheap almost given away.

Pochi n Nyaa was more expensive, £150.

I've always thought those prices on neostore are beyond the pale. they even make the crazy eBay stuff look like a great deal. To this day I still can't understand who would actively spend more than double, an already inflated price, for a kit that could be gotten elsewhere. Maybe I'm just not hardcore enough.

Just found Bang Bead at a reasonable price so that's me down to 3 to go.
