Yeah Chris got it right, I was about to write the same thing. Lot sales are difficult and the hassle after to part it out is not appealing.
You shouldn't have trouble selling them individually though.

Thanks Chris. I would be happy with £7500 for the lot, I realise the buyer could then split and sell things they didn't need and make a nice earning (whilst adding whatever they need to their collection).

Having been genuinely tempted, and having discussed doing it with my trusted adviser… I’ve decided that this would be an absolutely bonkers way of getting myself a cheap Windjammers :lolno:

Good luck with it. If someone has the money and is in no rush to get it back, this would actually be quite a fun project to take on…

Wait, am I tempted again?!

You have some rare and very desirable titles that will likely only find their true value at auction. But fair enough if you put a high value on your time, not enough people do.

I'm surprised nobody has asked for pictures :D
I think I've seen twinkle star sprites come up maybe 4 or 5 times, if your money puzzle exchanger is an English label I've seen that once.

Thanks Matt. Money Puzzle is Japanese. Twinkle Star Sprites is US / hologram label. I tried posting images here but they didn't attach, they are heic format from an iPhone. Spent a while testing yesterday and took quite a few pictures / videos of things.

Could you maybe separate out the games worth 500+ each and sell them individually? That probably wouldn't be too much hassle and would net you a nice sum. The people after those games probably already have the cheaper ones.

You could then look into selling the cheaper games in a lot (would make them more affordable and attractive to a potential buyer too)

Commented on Vac but maybe a compromise as suggested above and to fully agree with o1s1n, if you *really, really* don't want to split sell (by far the best return of course) is to at least sell the big hitters and then bring the price of the 'lot' down to a more palatable £2/3k at least?

Come to think of it prob most of us have the cash but not willing to risk it, I'm a saver not a risky person.

I also think it would work better to sell of the high stuff separate to make a easier buy for most prob end up getting more along with a fat lump.

I tell you what, seeing some of these MVS prices has me looking at my own MVS collection. I totalled up some figures based on the estimations here and I'm hitting 7000 - 8000 gbp, wtf  people are mad with the money they're willing to drop on old stuff these days.

Yep, it won't last for ever like this - if you're thinking of selling I'd get on with it. Mighty glad I shifted 90% of mine a year or two back.

You forget that arcade games used to be dirt cheap! I mean people paid more for poor SNES ports rather than the hardware originals. (yeah sure I'm aware home console stuff is more accessible), but not really if you really want (superguns).

There are still some retro console games that go for more than the arcade version, like Snow Bros.
