MS8 vs MS9

MS8 vs MS9
Hi, I am buying an Astro City from JCL, and it comes with the MS8 + Toshiba... is it worth changing that to an MS9? I am not sure if the MS9 is considered to be better or not?

Not worth going to the effort and expense unless there's something wrong with it. They're both great monitors.

a few cabs up in the sales section might be cheaper than jcl , but as pang say both great monitors

Having just spent 2 hours tweaking the colour balance on an MS8, the MS9 is so much better 
only reason you should be changing the monitor, is if one is considerably better than the other (colour, convergence, burn) but that’s got nothing to do with them being MS8 or MS9.
