Which makes the questions of how similar will they be, where/how will they diverge, etc a lot more interesting. Obviously unknowable to anyone here but Shou at this time, it's just that I can't think of another example where a game is in the middle of production while an external partner works on a port of that in-progress game to another platform along with potential upgrades/changes. If you're trying not to make a fork of the original product but a recognisable port of what it will be, that sounds like a unique challenge.
I wrote a reply once already but the mobile site ate it.

Like other EXA Label series releases, EXA Label will contain our arranged version plus the MD original mode can be enabled for play. However, the MD version is very much a console game and not suited for arcades as is. We have been involved with technical support on the MD development from early on but we are not involved in any way with the modern console ports by LRG/Embracer.

Parallel game development is common where the original team is working on a lead platform while other developers are making optimized ports on other target platforms. A number of big titles work this way in Western game development. For exA, we have already done this with games like Cotton 6.

Is your budget going to stretch to a Euro showing at a trade expo such as EAG?

We do not have plans to attend any EU show at the moment as many EU customers already come to IAAPA.

9:16 remake (like Fixeight) with the trackball would be really cool.

Hi all,

I've been wanting an exA for some time. I want to get an Arc-32 cab. Does anyone here own/ordered one? Info is kind of sparse on these. Thanks,

Thanks, yeah I already reached out to a few on that list. Info from them is even kind of vague. The most info I got from one of the distros is $9500 for the Arc-32 w/ the Exa and 1 game. They said shipping is from Taiwan though and I would have to get a sea shipment freight quote and that it would take around 2 months to arrive.

ARC-32s are shipped by the container so it would be about 20 units in a 20 ft container or 40 in a 40 ft. Several people are interested in the States so if there is interest in a group buy, that can be organized.

Thanks Shou, my distro said air freight would be fast but expensive and sea freight would be a lot cheaper and slower. I'm fine with sea freight and I've been talking with him about maybe ordering 2. Would be cool to have 1 Tate and one landscape and not need to change screen orientations ever. One thing my distro did not even know was the 1-game included part. Can I pick any 1 game? Even a LE? Ideally if I were to buy 2 Arc-32s I'd go with FixEight LE and Batsugun 1.5 LE.

This is an interesting development, and a must buy for Switch owners. Feels like a directors cut of the game. Love it.
