Re: Items spotted on eBay
Maybe you need to include a six pack of Budweiser with your £7 to seal the deal?

Re: Items spotted on eBay
..why would he sell it for £7?
B&Os are quite valuable around here atleast ? Maybe not 500 but 2-300 sure..

Re: Items spotted on eBay
The £7 was just for my amusement as it’s about as insulting as asking £500 for it.
Last year I bought an MX7000 for £50 and an MX8000 for £30 (and a back injury!).
£500 is outrageous!

May be me getting old but I quite like a Budweiser now. Canned and chilled, though

Re: Items spotted on eBay
My cheapest Beo1 was -£55 (auction ended at £5 and I flogged the remote for £60). That's only due to auction lottery though. If CRT supply was dry I'd pay a lot for one.
We're not there yet though (are we?), it's very overpriced.

We’re not there, but I’m sure some will be. It only takes one £700 monitor to **** the crt ecosystem

Anyone in America? This is a bargain at today’s prices…

I know @Neo Gold was looking, but it is pretty strictly US only
(Can someone tag Goldie please? Mentions don’t seem to be working for me??)

0 bids, so the bargain was still overvalued.

Re: Items spotted on eBay
I don’t actually disagree, I don’t think it’s worth a grand (nice condition kit though!!), but I am genuinely surprised it didn’t sell at that price.
Cheapest I’ve seen it in ages, including forum prices!

Nice blue MX7000
I’d actually quite like a blue one myself, rather than the white one I have, but I need to start trimming down rather than adding!
These are lovely screens as long as the bidding doesn’t go too high.
Edit: would be nice to see a picture of it working, and to know if it has a remote too…

Must have seen a large drop off on sales if they are doing this and I suppose a good bit of competition from fb marketplace* and the likes I'd guess

At least its real this time not like when that guy posted something similar a while back but only he got the email.
Now that cash on collection is going soon too I guess they will make it back other ways.
eBay sales are a slow burner these days for me.

Re: Items spotted on eBay
Selling has always been free for the first 100 or 200 listings per month or whatever, I haven't paid in ages. But ebay has sucked for me the past entire year, it's a ghost town now it feels like on selling, and I've noticed I can never find deals now everything is sky high even used goods, and it all just sits there clogging up searches. When I actually see something good go up it's like a diamond in the rough. Also the shipping charge keeps going up for media mail shipping and basic level shipping for vidya, it feels like whenever I sell something I get even less money after fees because they take their cut from the shipping money too.

Re: Items spotted on eBay
I was over at Andy's a few weeks back & he mentioned that he would be listing some interesting items on eBay from his private collection:
