I never imagined buying a tv could be so complicated, tried watching some of that but understood absolutly nothing...

When the time comes I think I'm just gonna buy another Sony OLED and whatever Japanese AVR puts out the most power into 7 channels.

Still using the Panasonic plasma I got from @tetsujin years ago. It's on so infrequently I'm almost tempted to go TV less.

Panasonic OLED here but I think they are all much pretty much the same these days like with phones design wise nothing really stands out any more just another screen so your prob better off just going with the brand you've had before & trust.

The future is boring.

I went from a 42" Panasonic HD ready plasma that I've had for about 13 years (still looked good when I passed it on to a relative), that I paid 13 thousand SEK for, to an LG OLED 4K 65", that cost me 13 thousand SEK about 13 months ago. I've wanted at least a full HD display for many years now, but honestly, the 720p plasma looked very good even to this day unless you put a 4K OLED next to it. It still boggles my mind how good the LG panel is.

I actually paid HD (£1079.99p) for my 4K 55" about 5 years ago it was the outgoing model with just a few left on the shelf in Costco I was driving for a job at the time so just put it in the work van.

Both my cabs now have LG monitors & I've set them up the same as much as possible & they great even for LED, VF3/TB looks stunning on the 1080p one.

Plasma seems like the new CRT, some people still won't let go because of their 3D Blu ray collections, of which discs are still made. I originally got my OLED for Ultra HD discs so I never intended to game much on it but it's been the best looking gaming screen I've ever used. Even the picture running the M2 ports with scanlines looks better than my cab does. Prices are crazy now to me, just like Emphatic I paid more for a smaller LCD back in the day than a much bigger OLED.

Good to see you stayed JPN & I really like the exposed brickwork adds a lot of character to a room.

I’ve always gone Yamaha but their current range is 3 years old now. Very impressed with the Denon Audyssey setup. Sounds great.

If they were mine, guaranteed they would be orange. 😊

I did try but they wouldn’t have it.
