Mario Kart World. Worth booting just to watch the title screen.
Your favourite character gently cruises around never-ending beautiful sights to a never-ending incredible soundtrack.
My opinion on the gameplay isn't worth anything when I've only played it three times but however good or bad it is the creative detail is phenomenal. The product of hundreds of artists, generations raised on this brand, given eight years of production time. Each a loving pair of hands qualified to expand the soul of the art. Like the various renditions that drastically transform the hundreds of classic songs - The musicians just get it.
Is there as good an example of this kind of generational development anywhere? I can't think of one. Star Wars?
Anyway, my point is that the MKW title screen is a pure showcase of all that waffle.

I've had Star Gladiator running the background –during the evenings when I'm not playing Star Gladiator 2– just to bask in it's chunky yet plasmic glory. Star quality.
I don't own the arcade originals anymore, but somehow I've now developed a preference to the arcade version's soundtrack for the first game over the PS1 arrangements. Same songs, but the arcade versions just sound more Capcomey.
