Oh cool I'll give that a listen. The intro track is about as Yuzo Koshiro as it can get (which is definitely not a bad thing!)

I’ve binned off the YouTube link because they all seemed cut short and in an odd order, but it’s on Spotify and Apple Music too. Some of the tracks are outstanding!

As you go through, you’ll notice massive Prodigy influences too.o1s1n wrote: February 9th, 2024, 9:39 amOh cool I'll give that a listen. The intro track is about as Yuzo Koshiro as it can get (which is definitely not a bad thing!)

Having not listened to it properly whilst playing, I meant to say last weekend I saw your post so decided to listen to the soundtrack driving back home from work at 3am on a Saturday morning.
It fitted nicely with the Brixton and Croydon vibe as I drove. Cheers

Yeah it's a really fantastic soundtrack, cheers Chris - would never have thought of giving it a listen.

Nice one boys.
As an original soundtrack, it’s right up there with Streets of Rage 1&2.
I still play those games through regularly, and turn them up every time.
Still waiting to see actual evidence of Final Vendetta running on MVS hardware though…

Ah, the benefits of working from home
I wasn't expecting to enjoy it that much but it was actually really good! (both the OST and the meat spinning
)
Definitely a lot of Prodigy vibes in there along with Roni Size and lots of others. Mad Scientist is ace, it's pretty much a mashup of 'Renegade - Terrorist' (one of my favourites) and some other Jungle/DnB tracks. Quality
Looking forward to my next spin

I'm still riding the Synthwave. I bought Siamese Youth - Electric Dreams recently and have been enjoying that.
My inner 80s tween also discovered Prizm recently. The below is a medley of some other tracks from other artists I like and it gets my prepubescent panties wet.
I found they did a interpretation of some of Fleetwood Macs Rumours album called 'Rumours in the Night'. Some might find it sacrilege and no doubt Kernow (RIP) would be turning in his grave but I quite like it

Big fan of Yard Act's debut album, but their second is very special indeed.

I'm reigniting my love for the Pet Shop Boys. Seeing as they're releasing a new album in a month.
The album Fundamental from 2006 is phenomenal, produced by Trevor Horn (Frankie goes to Hollywood et al) where the strings from "Relax" was heavily reused as requested by the duo.
The last track, "Integral", on this album is amazing.

Absolutely love At 1980's new album - Forget to Remember :
So many good tracks on there but one of the finest IMO is an instrumental:
Such emotion, I feel Lazlow would be proud.

Hardly new but this quintessential finnish band recorded one awesome album 20 years ago then dissapeared, just discovered it, hits the spot!

Recently rewatched Twin Peaks The Return Again and not sure how I missed this Chromatics banger the first time around.
