I have a error 36 on my exA Arcadia, I don't know if it's a big issue or how to solve it. I used it two days before the error and I didn't touch anything before the problem occurred. I sent an email to exA but I haven't received any response for a week. Usually, they are quick to respond. For your information, I used the address that indicated I was eligible for an update.
So if anyone has a lead...
Thanks
You'll have to send it for service. With Evo Japan, I suspect the team is quite busy right now, hence the delayed response.
If they don't answer in a few more days, maybe reach out using their contact form: https://exa.ac/en/contact/?v=0f177369a3b7

I listened to part of the stream yesterday, although my translation from French may not be too accurate so consider it all a 'hype monster' and 'rumour' for now.

Two unannounced games have been demoed privately.

1. Trackball game
2. fighting game expected to be 'very popular'

Not confirmed but under consideration for the system..

1. Potential for a number of rhythm games with control hardware or cabinet, :penser: makes sense when you consider there are a number of established Korean developers.
2. Something to celebrate Exa's 5th birthday
3. More puzzle games planned/expected

Yeah I think shou mentioned a track ball game before, but took in jest.personally I think the focus needs to be on exclusive exa games, whatever the genre.many ops have made it clear that if the game is available on other platforms it’s a hard sell for the arcade.now exa are established I hope we see more exa arcadia exclusives.

Open to serious requests of which titles that players want to see in the future on the platform.

We aren’t considering titles which prioritize the console audience over arcade (eg SF6, T8, etc) We have passed on all of these.

Well if we're thinking blue sky serious then these would be my choices:
Mushihimesama +1 (as mentioned earlier in this thread), Ibara + Ibara Kuro, Batrider, Battle Bakraid, Mushi Aleste Branch, Crimson Clover.
Some platformers like: Black Tiger, Castlevania, Contra, Mercs/Commando

Is there a solution already for 240p games to make them look good in the High Res world on the exa platform? I'm trying to understand if this affects your decision making for titles you consider. If no, how about adding exclusive exa modes of the HD home port of Psychic 5 Eternal or the re-drawn version of Toki? Not sure if Toki can be made fun, but it at least has HD graphical assets.

Edit: Or a shorter arcade edit of Gradius V if the 3D graphics can be presented in HD. That could be amazing.

Well here is my exA wish list, in no particular order.

1. Death Smiles II. This would probably be my top Cave pick, mainly because I would love to own the arcade version, but the OG hardware is notoriously unreliable.

2. Killer Instinct exA with all the DLC and exA exclusives. This was mentioned by Sven, and honestly I think it's a great idea.

3. R-Type Final exA. Or maybe Last Resort exA.

4. As Fixeight is on its way, how about its older brother, OutZone, one of my favourite Toaplan games.

5. More SNK collaborations, maybe the new Metal Slug which has been long rumoured to be in development.

6. Daraku Tenshi - The Fallen Angels. This was announced, but I haven't heard anything for a while. A definitive finished version would be awesome.

7. Thinking along the lines of Psikyo, a Strikers exA version would be awesome.

8. A scrolling fighter, maybe definitive versions of Final Vendetta or Shredder's Revenge.

9. Black Finger Jet exA version 😀

10. A new game collaboration with Brian Colin, the creator of Rampage and General Chaos. I think he's still actively developing games. A new 4 player Rampage would be awesome and I think it would do well in the arcades.

1,2 and 9 would be great!

I don't see how Outzone can be improved. It's already an amazing game!

When making a list, it’s best to be specific instead of just SNK or Psikyo titles.

Outzone is intentionally one we haven’t touched because it is already well done. There is a good interview with exA on Beep’s site that goes over why.

There are a number of new internally developed titles in our pipeline. However, time and time again, we see people asking for known IP rather than something completely original. That’s why we are asking for what people want to see.
