Yes all of the expansive pcbs from beep in yahoo are won by beep most of the times and then relisted one month later and won by them again etc

Where is the guy with the cave barcodes excel sheet? You could see there how the same barcode comes in yahoo again and again on a monthly basis

Hehe, all in akihabara are mafiosis. SNK was actually the same was Sega was and still is maybe. They were owning all the the pachinko and VG places for money laundering.

I'd love to see evidence of Yugen/BEEP repeatedly relisting the same CAVE board(s). That'd be pretty hard to obfuscate unless they're hiding the board serials.

Yugen2Plus absolutely shill bids their x68000s. I was buying/refurbishing them for a year or so a couple years back. I'd lose the same serial number one 2-3 times by one single bid. It'd come back up the next week for sale. Few times of not selling and they'd let it go for substantially less. Didn't get X price 2 or 3 relistings and then they'd just let it go. It was like clockwork. And easily tracked thanks to the serial numbers.

Whether they behave the same on Cave games, couldn't say because I don't follow those. But they absolutely used to on x68000s. And I wouldn't be surprised if that extends to other things they sell as well.

a bit late but regarding the Japanese collector community. Most of them are (if they are) active on Twitter due to lack of English skills and the anonymity.

I know several of them via Twitter and also visited some. there are also many others who tend to keep to themselves and/or the Japanese community.

Foreign collectors sometimes get a bad rep due to buying all "their" stuff and/or plain xenophobia.

I don't think I've ever seen one of those late version Super Famicom prototypes for sale. Really interesting bit of history, it's a shame they didn't keep the headphone jack on the released version.

yeah looking at the pics they're may be 7 more at least ! the headphone jack not being kept is a real damn shame but i suppose the 14" tv most of us had to play these on had headphone jacks ,so may have been redundent in a way !

this was at 1B yen before, must have cancelled a bid, absolutley ridiculous anyways, makes the ~$300.000 the Nintendo Playstation prototype sold for seem like a bargain...

I feel for the seller. Every gaming news site under the sun has picked up on this now. So many time wasters.

Cool! Looks to be a home made jobbie

I made it by modifying a radio-controlled transmitter.
The cable length is approximately 2m from the end of the connector to the base of the controller.
Operation has been confirmed.
