Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
This is more of a ‘wanted’ than a price check, but I’ll be looking for the following in the new year and honestly have no idea what they’re worth. Neither comes up much, but think that’s because they’re unpopular rather than T3H RAR3Z…?
Ninja Commando MVS
Zupapa MVS
Original carts, nice labels…
Any guesses?

Would a Gunbird 2 (mine, not JP), be a fair trade for either of the above, or either Shadow Dancer or Sunset Riders??
I bought GB2 for about £290 about two years ago, but I’ve no idea if that was a fair price, was an impulse buy when I had the funds to do stuff like that

Gunbird 2 is worth more than any of those four (assuming MVS games are loose).

A Raiden 1 sold over on arcade-projects in November for €120. I bought Raiden Fighters from the same seller and upon reflection should have nabbed Raiden 1 too as my board is borked! Was a very good price.

That's peanuts. Football Champ cost more. But thank you for the input.

Hi All,
Are fully working Metal Black PCBs really £1,300-£1,500 these days as eBay historical sales would suggest?

I've never seen it sell for that much myself, though it would be more of a £400 game these days.NeoRetro wrote: January 11th, 2024, 8:24 am Hi All,

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I have a Raiden DX poster that I've been storing for years. It's an unusual size - about A1 but not quite. Don't think it's been displayed, has the usual minor edge damage from being stored and shipped rolled. It's Japanese, but has an (original) sticker from the 1996 re-release of the game.
The price for framing it properly to my satisfaction is getting silly. I shouldn't care so much about it but... If I'm not going to display it, I should sell it.
Value?

Pioneer PDP V402 4:3 Plasma TV - any ideas of value at the moment? I've got one I'm considering selling.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I'd be surprised if anyone can suggest anything up to date. I have one I bought over ten years ago for about £100, on ebay as untested (quite normal that a seller wouldn't have a compatible source to feed it). I think most owners did similarly. Niche item, lucky ebay find from an unknowing seller. I haven't seen one sold for years.2huwman wrote: January 26th, 2024, 8:33 am Pioneer PDP V402 4:3 Plasma TV - any ideas of value at the moment? All I can say is that I wouldn't want to trade it now for less than a decent BVM or high end PVM, but it'd feel like taking the **** as the asking prices of those now are painful. Even then I'd probably rather keep it. Not many people actually want one, and no owners want to sell for near the price they paid. Personally I think it's the kind of thing that's up to a buyer to put a tempting offer out.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Thanks - gotcha. So hypothetically, if you were to trade yours, how much would these decent BVMs or high end PVMs be worth?pubjoe wrote: January 26th, 2024, 11:39 amI'd be surprised if anyone can suggest anything up to date.
