Nobody's talking about Shane MacGowan passing. I gues he will go to 1 in Ireland this Christmas season.

Shane used to live in a local pub, the Boogaloo at Highgate, clever guy but always drunk, was often sat in the bar alone.CTN wrote: December 3rd, 2023, 8:21 am Nobody's talking about Shane MacGowan passing. I gues he will go to 1 in Ireland this Christmas season.
Saw him play at Glastonbury a long long time ago when he used to bash his head with a tea tray, excellent show.

Re: Mournhub
I can't not mention Tom Wilkinson.
More tragic, was the passing of Lee Sun-Kyun, pretty much murdered by the South Korean Police, - encouraged by the current SK Government's ridiculous over-zealous drug policy.
I don't watch much in the way of Korean dramas or films these days but I remember first seeing him, way before 'Parasite' or 'My Mister' or even 'Coffee Prince' (also RIP Lee Eon), but in the little known Pilot to terrible drama series 'Sweet 18'. He ended up not being cast as the lead for that series, I think his acting in that was a little stilted, but he suited the role better.
If you have Netflix, try to watch 'My Mister' it's pretty great.

Steve Wright off Radio 2 always found him slightly annoying on his big show & but found him better on the Sunday love songs but still shocked that he has died.

Steve Albini. Absolutely gutted to hear this. A genius of music engineering.
