Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
There’s a Neo Turf Masters kit here :-
viewtopic.php?p=563339&hilit=Neo+turf+masters#p563339
For £300 unsold. Seems a reasonable price for an original kit, but the market suggests not?!
So I guess, a bit less than that?

We are in depression and people don't have the money -> prices are dropping.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
It is, but everyone’s broke…
DFK is as much of a collectors piece as it is a game that buyers want to sling in a cab and actually play.
Problem is justifying four figures on that right now.
It’ll sell eventually, but there are fewer people in a position to buy…
I’ve spent a small fortune over the last few years, but then the fixed rate mortgage ended and so did my disposable income.
Just passed up an absolute bargain In The Hunt, one of the very last boards I really want, as I simply couldn’t justify it.

You can always drop the price if you want to move something.
I know, outlandish.

Not on my watch! I'll close the forum before I let my Cave stonks fall. That's the only reason I bought them you see.

I though OBO stood for Or Best Offer, inviting bids but I might have that confused with something else.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
It's because dfkbl eclipsed it in every single way... I'll admit to owning say Ibara bl, mushi bl etc, once I played the bl versions I simply did not touch the standard versions.
I never had doj bl though!.
Thats just my thoughts and yeah... We are all feeling the pinch..

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Looking at EOJs list and placing the price 540 Euro under tops current price seemed reasonable to me, especially listing it as OBO. But then again its only premium **** if you're the sellerJan wrote: September 24th, 2023, 4:52 pm yes, horrible situation, a pcb won't sell for the price of a full kit, strange times![]()

Stick it on Arcade Projects. It's possible that your sales thread just hasn't had enough exposure.

You ask whatever you like, I was only making fun there, but while you mention it:
All these sales List do one thing, they give people an idea of value, wich is simply not there unless maybe you have access to the same marked. It is not only recession , people have simply overpaid based on these lists and will never see that money back in a future sale.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I mean it's not really too surprising that people are less interested in buying now.
As someone who has spent a lot the last few years on PCBs. Last few years we were in a time of mortgage rates below 2% + seemingly strong job security and it was very much fine for a lot of people to buy a lot of... stuff.
Nowadays, mortgage rates are up a lot, big companies are downsizing, overall economy is more uncertain... then yeah, I'm gonna think twice before spending big money on circuit boards
Considering how much PCB prices balloned the last few years, interest and prices dropping a bit is probably a good thing.
edit: Should probably note that I think 2100eur is probably a fair DFK price. It's just that the buyer pool and interest is a lot smaller now, so it'll probably take longer to get it sold.
