If anyone wants to lend me a MVS, cart and supergun (lol) I don't mind having a look at it.
Happy to lend you my cart @FrancoB, but I don't have a supergun and I can't find my 1-slot

Sending u my super limited edition...brace yourself. What could have been an amazing god like game **** up by a few lines of stupid coding for controls and lack of ammo.

I just hope they dont make final vendetta a tracball game.

It's really is a testament to your **** design when people want to mod the game straight out of the box because it's unplayable.

Very unfortunate because everything else about this game is top notch.

Whilst I found the MVS control scheme acceptable in the short term it did limit my desire to return after completion.

It's a valid point raised about needing wider external play testing. Providing a ROM / demo version to any intrested forum members could be quick and free feedback, given we will moan/find issues with almost anything arcade related.

Still if buying the game has helped to bring Final Vendetta and Battle Axe to the neo then it still feels worthwhile.

SNES pad is the perfect control scheme for this game!
Shoulder buttons for roll and grenade.

Are the face buttons too far apart though? :problem:

Twin stick on the switch is the best I’ve played yet. The game is so much easier

I'll have a think about a MVS version. It's a bit more tricky as you don't have all of the individual inputs from what I can see. Ideally you just want something like a JAMMA passthrough that remaps what's required.

If anyone wants to lend me a MVS, cart and supergun (lol) I don't mind having a look at it.

Another good twin stick option is the boot the Mega drive version on the Megadrive core with MiSTercade and then remap the Megadrive player 1 buttons to stick 2.

Just gave it a go as a matter of interest and it works great.

Interesting!

With a twin stick control scheme on a cab, what’s a good option for grenade and roll?

When this was due out I was thinking of getting two button-top sticks. It's not possible to bodge a proper dual stick layout from the NG version unfortunately. I'm very disappointed about that as good twin stick shooters are pretty unique standouts and would be a big arcade version selling point. I don't particularly want a new top-down shooter, but I really want a new twin stick shooter. There are just a couple of issues for any NG hardware workarounds I guess. The PC version would be just fine though.

Yeah I was so caught up flying around blasting everything with the two sticks I didn't give too much consideration to bomb and roll

Had them configured to button one on each player but its fairly awkward.

Wonder would my PS1 pedal potentially work for roll.
