Considering you're like a PCB market analyst, I would guess you have a better understanding of its value than anyone else here.

Thank you brother!!
Always very nice and constructive comments! You must be a really good guy to hang out with!
But I bought this in 2008 for 25 euro so it might have increased a little in value.

Any valuation would be a wild guess. Either put it up for sale at a crazy price and see what offers you get or auction it. I think this one might appeal more to Japanese buyers to be honest.

To be fair, I think my offer of €50 counts as a crazy price…SuperPang wrote: September 4th, 2022, 12:06 pmF86 wrote: September 4th, 2022, 8:28 am But I bought this in 2008 for 25 euro so it might have increased a little in value.![]()

Number 3 of 5... To a collector this would be worth more than the AK and Mushi home versions

I believe he said nothing obvious other than missing credits. Given that this appears to be from a final location test two weeks before the master ver date, that would make sense.sven666 wrote: September 4th, 2022, 5:48 pm Are there any differences from the regular release? DFK AOU penis laser version is the ultimate grail. $10m at least.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I don't own a regular MBL unluckily. It seems hyper specifications are very different.
I might send it to someone on this forum to compare it carefully against normal MBL
(Maybe I should make a thread about this and leave this one)

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
No need to do that, unless you really want to. Over on CAVE-STG we documented the location test differences back in 2008. Here is a summary of the differences, compared to the official DSMBL release:F86 wrote: September 5th, 2022, 12:19 am I don't own a regular MBL unluckily. -Cannot power up with the counter at 500, must wait until 1000 (like Deathsmiles).
-Plus value is not shown beneath the counter during play (like Deathsmiles).
-Crowns are sucked up too fast, making it more difficult to break them.
-Cannot go directly to the Castle stage, you need to go through the Canyon or Ice Palace first.
-Tree boss is harder.
-Plus value resets to zero when you die (on the official release it only reduces by 30%).

Need help to price a couple PCBs. Galaga 88 Namco system1 and Gun Frontier on the big single taitoboard. Seen prices be all over the place. Don't want to rip anybody off but selling because I need the funds so don't want to let them go to cheaply either.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I've been out of the loop on MVS prices.
Any input on the following original MVS titles please?
- Ninja Master's (clean original JP label)
- Twinkle Star Sprites (fake JP label)
- Operation Ragnarok (original JP label with strong crease in the middle)
- Garou Mark Of the Wolves (original JP label, some old yellowed tape on parts of the label)
- Blazing Star (clean US label)
Cheers

Garou is slowly creeping up, not sure which is the preferred version though.parodius wrote: September 18th, 2022, 6:49 am - Garou Mark Of the Wolves (original JP label, some old yellowed tape on parts of the label) - between £200-250
