Re: Obsessive TV Watching =)
Enjoyed the 1st 3 episodes of Wheel of Time 1or 2 iffy bits but overall ok ,think it was always going to have a hard time because of Game of thrones /Lord of the rings comparisons being made , 2 reviews I saw compared it to GOT and that it was slow paced
personally felt a lot happened in the 1st episode. unlike GOT I was aware of the books and was hoping for years that it would be made into a film / show just to save me hassle of reading them.

But ep4 was much better. I actually liked it and only 4 more to go.
It already has a season 2 lined up too.

Re: Obsessive TV Watching =)
At least there is a season 2 coming , still seems like something is slighty off for me ,I am enjoying it but still
I saw somewhere compare its production to it looking more like bbc's merlin and thats what it reminds me of I think ,I haven't seen Merlin outside of some adds.

Re: Obsessive TV Watching =)
Finished s1 of wheel of time overall I enjoyed it. It has its problem s /production annoyances but enjoyed it.
I constantly complained in GOT that it was too dark and I couldn't see half the **** this is the complete opposite and nearly too well lit

Terrific mid season finale to Better Call Saul tonight. Every bit as good as Breaking Bad. I’m going to miss it.

Sky/HBO.
Don't look for a trailer, just find and watch the whole thing.

I got through 20 minutes of the first episode before turning it off. Half of that was a man walking down corridors.

Really was masterful, a show I never wanted to end and characters so well written and acted it was a joy to watch.

Re: Obsessive TV Watching =)
Had no enthusiasm for House of the Dragon, given the disappointing final seasons of GoT, but I really enjoyed the first episode. It seems to be very much recycling the formula, but it’s a damned addictive one and I’m hooked. FFS.
