Wiring chassis power help.

Right I need to conect the chassis from the power supply above to the chassis connector below,



The old chassis connector below plugs into a 2 pin wall plug style connector (old cab had an extra 2 pin one internally it went in)



I'll chop the end off the 2 pin plug end and wire it directly to the PSU wiring, just checking how I go about that...



OK so the 2 red power lines are OEM wiring direct from the PSU (Split off the white and grey in the original pic) They're wired to 100V (yellow label) and -5v (pink label) Can I just split the 100V line (110V on a multi metre reading) And wire it to both ends of the connector to power the chassis?

I guess my question is will I be alright splitting a single 100V line from the power supply into 2 lines as per the AC 100V in on the chassis.

Hey bud,

From the input mains side, it should be ok as that's essentially how it would have worked with the internal power socket on the other cab.

(happy to be corrected if anyone else knows better)
