I know, I might give it a try one of these days, it's only in recent years that bothered to play doom for more than a few minutes as well
There is far too many big games that I kept away from for some reason.

Yeah well, I've never played a Final Fantasy game properly. Nor a Tomb Raider. Or any Resident Evil games. Or Call Of Duty.
Haven't even seen a Rambo movie.

I can't imagine playing any of the Quakes with a controller, they're extremely twitchy.

Agreed. That's why I'm not playing it on Xbox even though it's on Game Pass.

Nothing wrong with 3.
Last Blood was dreadful though.

That movie just felt like they wanted to get their moneys worth out of the big Soviet helicopter they bought for Part II.

You'd have to pay me to watch any Rambo.
I'm playing with an Xbox Series controller. On PC. I admit that I wasn't doing so well at first, but by the end of the third episode things clicked. But I admit I'd play better if I spent the same amount of time using a mouse and keyboard –- I just don't want to.
Playing all these remasters of 90s FPS games (by Nightdive) with a nice modern controller and a purdy CRT is exactly what I want to do. No need to buy any "new" console.
Will get Powerslave Exhumed on day one, and Shadowman once I'm done with that.

Rambo 4’s amazing btw
I loved Quake on the Saturn but it doesn’t hold a candle to Doom. I just remember being thrilled at being able to look at ceilings and a lot of brown. I hired Exhumed and Shadowman from Blockbuster when they came out and disliked both quite strongly. Why would you want to play them?
I’m playing Astral Chain at the mo. It’s ace but the combat system’s quite complex and getting time to sit down at it’s so few and far between that I can’t remember the moves when I do get back to it.

I'm actually genuinely enjoying this game. Underrated hidden ge--fossilised scrotum of our ancestors.
I'll
maybe play SF6 if Sawada is in it.

Since the arrival of our little one last December and due to moving house in February, this is the first time I've managed to get a console set up or play any real kind of a game
Had a hankering to play this so that's what I've setup first
The Hayabusa in the stick was a bit sloppy so I just printed an oversize actuator for it, it's much tighter now

I'm currently playing Virtua Fighter 4 Evo on ps2. I follow the tutorials to become a better player, while trying to finish the quest mode with sarah and lei fei.
