Ouch. Yeah the thing needs to be pristine for that kind of outlay :wtf:

I need some speaker stands for my office and [these] seem to fit the bill for my setup. That company name though... :lol:

The Gyro was beautiful and sounded every bit as lovely as the Lux but setup is very sensitive with that thing. It was easy to knock out of position, everything had to be spot on level for the weedy little belt to be lined up perfectly, and changing to 45rpm was fiddly. I much prefer using a 24kg chonk with a big fat belt and switches and dials to set everything.

The tube has detached from the back of the tweeter. I could glue it, try to pop them back together then always wonder if I’ve **** it up.
