Cool, I will have another look. The only stuff I am very familiar with is LFO which I already have.

I know I like to drop daft hardcore links in here, but here's a genuine tip.
Love letter to Ophidian. Links sprinkled throughout.
First found out about this guys work back in his Blackbox days, in fact despite not particularly liking that release as a whole it's possibly the only bit of vinyl I lust after - it's an exceptional piece of work. In fact Enzyme Records as a whole - again, not always a fan of the output but thorough masterpieces throughout.

His last album release was in 2013 and the quality is ridiculously high. You know how most electronic artists start good then get gradually poorer over time... He keeps raising the bar for himself and the entire genre. I'm reluctant to call him a master as that implies a peak, yet he just keeps pushing higher.

The main thing about gaining years, and the baggage that comes with it, keeping up with things becomes increasingly difficult. I not long back discovered that Masters Of Hardcore had started a new podcast a year ago, and last month Ophidian did the second mix. Which I just listened to, exposing me to some of his newer stuff I've missed.

This is an utterly astonishing piece of work. Nevermind the CRT porn in the video. I don't know how he's going to improve in the future but I have absolute faith he will.

Full length version here:

Ugh, Christ.

I saw Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan suck himself off for nearly four hours at Wembley a couple of years ago. Such a cringe-fest. It droned on and on, the video screens were dedicated to shrines of his face and a childish slideshow shartistically portraying the abuse he’s suffered. He must have decided to get his own back on the audience.

I really like that, although both of the new songs are very derivative of New Order rather than sounding anything like the Pumpkins.

Not a big hardstyle listener, and the original version of this is pretty tame. Thought Jon Doe had started producing again for a moment, the lead and kick have a very distinct flavour. Nice to hear hardstyle with actual bottom end for a change.
