Er, it's tricky to do as certain things I got at mate's rates, other things I had etc. etc. So there won't be any real degree of accuracy to it. Also I'm aware people restore in different ways. It's sort of how long is a piece of string. Painting will be in the ballpark of £300-400 per machine, but I've heard of painters quoting £1000 (!?) - I've never paid that; I would consider anywhere around £300 for painting, rubbing down and repairing cheap, due to the level of work involved. Plating in the ballpark of £75-100 (again platers can offer vastly different prices). Chassis recaps and washes around £200-300. One of the panels is from Alberto so his prices are in his thread. Those aren't my figures, but if you wanted a ballpark I'd say allow for whatever you can afford, but £500 won't be enough  In all honesty the Egrets weren't far off the restore costs of my Astro (per cab), but with that I repro'ed the entire header and did custom bits, so again it's all on a case by case basis.

Its good to see costs and agree it can vary wildly , last cab i got painted i got quotes of 300-700 etc and eventually nearly got IT done on a freebee only for the amount off work that was involved in it , plating seem to be more set and from most quotes I got before were around €100ish per batch but some are limited on the size of items they can run through ,There are zinc plating kits out there for the total diyers
