Does it have to be Zoom (I’ve never used it btw)?

Some friends and I opened Discord accounts recently to video chat alongside Pokerstars private tables.

I know Zoom is widely used by schools and businesses atm, but Discord seems more fitting for this. Cools will probably cringe at this statement but every gaming related online community has a Discord server these days.

Once a room is set up any members can drop in, whether video or voice-only. It has text/img chat with all you’d want from that. It’s features are designed to accompany any videogames we might play and well, all gamers (younger than us) already use it.

Should've been clearer, my bad. I'll set a recurring meeting up and hop on tonight and we'll see how it goes. I'll probably be giving a dog walking tour for at least a bit of it.

@pubjoe dunno about Discord but Zoom handles network hopping admirably, and is quite light on bandwidth - jumping between 4G and wifi is basically seamless on Android at least. You can also join multiple clients to the same meeting - I tend to end up in the garage with a laptop and phone running different camera angles just for the novelty of it.
