There are different versions - some do have lots of chips.

Is this guy trying to scam me? Battle Circuit only doesn't come in a USA romset right?

Also, the lack of battery means it must be Pheonixed cause I don't see an infinikey.

"The label is repo, eproms all original. Currently suicide free,But if you need it,I reinstall the battery."

Huh?

That’s a bit of an oddity :wtf: You have Mask ROMs (so it’s not a conversion). And while those ‘red number’ EPROM seals are less common…at least some of them look legit. However, EPROM seals 01, 02, 03, 04 and 07 look off – the Capcom font doesn’t match and the text looks too fat. I’d assume all of those have been reburnt and/or have repro labels.

I believe the InfiniKey installs underneath this board revision (93646B-7). However, there definitely is no (legitimate) USA region…so you wouldn’t be able to use an InfiniKey, anyway. Likewise, there is no USA Phoenix data/EPROMs.

Some people have hacked CPS2 games to regions they weren’t originally released in. So, I’m guessing this has been changed to USA using hacked decrypted ROMs?

Do Limenko Power System 2 (Legend of Heroes, Dynamite Bomber, Super Bubble 2003) carts have socketed roms? And are they windowed?

And the motherboard should have a volume adjustment dial (like a gameboy's volume adjustment), not a pot way in that one needs a screwdriver to adjust, correct?

I have a feeling I was sold a converted cart and a repaired motherboard.

Also all MVS games had mask roms from the factory, right?

If you look at the chips marked 232 that is the Neo game number, I haven’t checked but I would assume it’s KOF97.
