Hello everyone. I am a newer member but I've lurked/ researched for a bit about purchasing a Candy Cabinet. Incidentally, There is a "store" by where I live that has had 3 Candy Cabinets in the back for quite some time. I don't think I've ever seen them on ever and I've been to the place multiple times over several years. She owns two Capcom impress Cabinets and a Super Neo 29 Candy.
I recently got my first job out of college 3 months ago and now that I have a substantial amount of revenue coming I figured now would be the time to ask. I talked with the owner and she was a little nervous about it, she knew some stuff but not a whole lot. I asked if she would entertain a serious offer and she said yes, but she wouldn't walk the cabinets with me at the time because she was the only person running the store. I set up a date with her to walk the Cabinets, I was hoping I could ask everyone about what a good price to pay for the cabinets based on what I know/what can be inferred.
here's the image gallery link for everyone to see, I tried to document everything i could think of.

WHAT I DO KNOW
1. She bought these 3 cabinets as part of a group Buy over 17 years ago (2001). She claims to have paid $600 for each Cabinet plus shipping. Seems Like a good deal for the impress Cabinets but not the Neo 29 Candy.
2. The game PCB's that she remembered having in the machines were metal slug 3 ( in the neo 29) and a TMNT game that she couldn't remember the title of. Each game has a pcb but its probably been so long since she turned them on the she doesn't recall.
3. one thing that doesn't come across very well in the photos is that these cabinets were beat up physically and super yellowed out. The impress cabs were especially dirty and one of them had dried up pop or some junk in the marquee. If the impress cabs were sold they would need all new sticks and buttons put in.
4. According to her the Super Neo 29 Candy is a 2 slot MVS, but that model was originally supposed to only be a one slot mvs/jamma board. So there is the possibility that someone modded the Cabinet to fit a 2 slot MVS.
WHAT I DON'T KNOW
1.I don't know what they look like on the inside or how to open them. I could have fiddled with it to find out but I didn't want thrown out/ lose my chance. So I don't know anything about the state of the wiring in each machine/if the buttons work.
2. I couldn't check for monitor burn either, I know that that will be the large deciding factor for the worth of these cabinets. I have an idea of how to throw the impress cabs into test mode but not so much on the Neo Candy, if someone has some advice on that i would greatly appreciate it.
3. I don't know if she has the marquees or not for each machine. My guess is probably no, otherwise they would be attached.
All in all the Cabinet I'm going for is the Super Neo 29 candy depending on the aforementioned MVS issue. The Seller still seems attached to the machines so I only really wanted to start with one, but If I could get two for a good bundle I would do that as well.
Based on what I could find online, and the information I have so far,I would offer her about 650 for for the Neo Candy with Metal slug 3 in it. The impress cabs I would want standalone with no pcb and offer about 600 for it. My prices are kind of based on the only prices that I could find for the two that weren't clearly eBay prices, from the site coinopexpress.com.
If anyone has any better price guidelines or any advice to give me regarding these cabinets I would be very grateful. I've already watched several videos about these particular cabinets and guides on buying candy cabinets, and was hoping that someone could give me some information that is more tailored to the current state of this deal.
Thanks for your help everyone!
