Last Podcast on the Left took a while to grow on me and the earlier episodes are pretty lame. Glad to hear that Dr Buckules has made the cut though - he's ace :awe:

It's one I only found recently, linked by The Outside Agency. Very cool cast, pretty sure it'll be right up your street.

Thumbs up for Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History :)

I’ve not listened to the others yet but that’s a good start.

HH is spectacularly good. I was lucky when I first stumbled across it years ago, all the episodes were still available freely in the RSS feed.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I’ve almost finished The Destroyer of Worlds which I’m thoroughly enjoying. The episodes are satisfyingly long too :fastlove:

Latest Hardcore History is on topic - Japanese culture around the turn of the 20th century. Crazy stuff.

I’ve been binging Those Conspiracy Guys lately. It’s pretty great and there are loads of them to get through.

I really enjoy Monsters Among Us podcast.

The episodes with Mirrored Men encounters are highly bizarre as is the story told by the family trip encountering a stealthed human and a green screen setting in the countryside.

Under The Skin has moved to the Luminary system, so that's me not listening to any future shows.

And it's still going. Episode 5 dropped recently, well into WW2 now. Essential listening.

Dan has also started a second "short-form" history podcast: Hardcore History Addendum. Well worth listening to.

I have ended up listening to Buckles on occasion, depending on who he's speaking to. It works well with comedians, less so with other disciplines.

On the music front MoH have started a new one. It'd be better without the (tiny) interview parts - it's all done in English which is non-native or highly limited in most of the artists - but the music is excellent.

Hardcore History is amazingly good.

Agree completely re Buckles. I like most of them but some fall a bit flat. It’s the only podcast which I listen to the ads on though

I’ve been listening to a fair bit of Stuff You Should Know when I’m winding down. There’s a huge back catalogue, it’s easy to listen to and often has some interesting surprise facts. I really like the presenters too.

Just found out about the podcast "Producing The Beatles". Very interesting, especially if you're interested in music production of course.
