Looking epic! What's that I spy at the front of the CP? Not a memory card + headphone socket area?

Getting there.... need to get the art sorted now, and some little marquees on backlit film.

I see you're creating the first 8 slot NG cab
.
Saw 8 pieces of plastic and thought each piece was for another marquee image. Then I saw the image above with the white light box area and realized it's still a 4 slot. My mistake

Re: MVS-U4-DK (Dino King Conversion)
Yep - I light them in pairs. 2 lights per marquee worked out a good size and brightness.
Not much of an update... but the order for the art is in - can't wait for it to turn up!
I've ordered a bezel, side art strips... and 4x generic mini marquees on backlit film.
To be done: fit art and locks to the cab.
Things I'm considering: Add headphone jack and memory card slot. Print mini marquees of my favourite games to swap out the generic ones.

It's nearing completion now. I can't wait to get this into the house and play the **** out of it.

Nice nice. Olly doing the vinyls for you?
I'm interested in sneaking switched headphone sockets into my jamma dino cabs too. Not started on that yet, as I may in the end fit a sound amp in each cab that has a headphone socket on it anyway, which would do most of the work for me, rather than me working up breadboards that hook off the speaker wiring and are mounted in the door somewhere.

I'm still up for a headphone circuit with volume control that disables the cab speaker when headphones are plugged in...

Re: MVS-U4-DK (Dino King Conversion)
Yeah for me the same, plus with an additional amp with volume control easily accessible in the door area so i don't have to fiddle with the pcb sound pots all the timecools wrote:I'm still up for a headphone circuit with volume control that disables the cab speaker when headphones are plugged in...

Re: MVS-U4-DK (Dino King Conversion)
Got the artwork through from Olly (complete legend), added a couple of locks and finished it off:

The Neo Geo X controller is brilliant for 2-player games:

It just plugs in via USB, and I've mapped the controls to player 2 in MAME. It can be unplugged and plugged back in without causing issues, so I'm going to put a panel mount USB on the front
. Something like this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Dash-boar ... SwYlRZEgBi
Olly also printed out a load of other mini marquees for me - Garou, KOF'98, FFSpecial, Last Blade etc. and a couple of generic ones too.

No problems, I may pick your brains at some point on the arduino driven stuff too!

Re: MVS-U4-DK (Dino King Conversion)
I know it originally came with the cab like that, but it'd really finish it off to spray the coin module white as well.
