Cheers guys
Thanks for the awesome stick mounts, Y.T... and of course Olly for the top art.
Panel is 844mm long, 155mm wide at the edges to 193mm in the centre... the housing is prob about 10mm bigger than the panel.

Couple more updates...
The crack has gone 8-) . The spot where it used to be is now the strongest part of the whole cab thanks to the patch on the back. The patch is made with the stuff they make crash helmets from apparently.

Prepared and primed the control panel housing. It's looking really nice - ready for the RAL902 tomorrow:

My daughter also plays moving both joysticks

Need to give her some more lessons though or she won't be able to 1cc any game

Bit more done today...
I wired up the control panel (now with a satin RAL9002 top coat), and put it on the cabinet to get an idea how it looks:
Image Image
I'm considering putting a clear, gloss lacquer layer on it. Not sure at the moment.

This is cool (although looks a bit messy)... I got a PC with a j-pac and an i-pac together.... j-pac does the usual jamma interface and p1&2. i-pac is hooked up to the two 9-pin AMP break out cables for p3&4. Bottom right is the sound amp (tapping 12v off the jamma):
Image
It's quick to plug in / unplug.... and I can use it until I get some 4p boards 8-)

It fits into the PCB area really nicely (note: the rust will be gone in a future update!):
Image

I tested it all out with a bit of Golden Axe: TRODA - too late at night to wake the kids up and test all 4 players at once... but will try that out tomorrow :awe: . Ignore the black and white header art... Still waiting for the colour one to come back from the printers.

This really looks great. How many 4 player games are there, that are fun to play? D&D is at least 3 players, right?
