I think they suit the room better than rosewood did. They sound fabulous too. A more detailed, spacious sound with incredible bass extension. Concrete Jungle never sounded so good.

Re: Varnish connoisseurs
Would anyone have any recommendations for a Bluetooth speaker thing?
I'm tempted by the RIVA Turbo X as it doubles as a speakerphone, which would be tremendously useful since this is for my office: http://www.amazon.co.uk/RIVA-TURBO-Prem ... 00IPSC6F6/
EDIT: Well bugger me, an auto accept offer on one on eBay. Here it comes!

Impressed. **** knows what volume it'll do but at office tolerance level it's nice and clear. Work phone paired over bluetooth as a speakerphone, private phone plugged into the line-in. Call comes in, overrides the line-incools wrote:I'm tempted by the RIVA Turbo X as it doubles as a speakerphone

Does it do proper high res @ 192/24?kernow wrote:Not much apart from being free from the shackles of iTunes and it doing 24bit..
As a Mac user and a general ignorant i have to ask what is the benefit of not using iTunes and 24bit when my library consists of cd rips? I always thought of iTunes being a transparent source.

Re: Varnish connoisseurs
I've got the rpm app.
I did not know there was a pot!
kern

I did use the qc24, but got a good deal on a (now a bit ****) trichord dino. The qc24 on had mc or mm settings, where as the dino had 3 sensitivity settings for each.
The qc24 has a ground issue. I need to send both in for a service
