On Season 5 of X-Files now.

Was going fine till this season, but they've really jumped the shark, and lost their way.

So I have now finished season 7 of the x-files.

Its been a real struggle since things started to go downhill in Season 5, I think there is probably less than a dozen good episodes between S5-7. Some of the monster of the week ones are pretty good, but it is let down by the reluctance to develop the main story arc - which admittedly is now so worn out that it has lost any real meaning, so at the end of the season 7 finale I had trouble getting into it at all. The whole Mulder & Scully non-but-kinda-romance is ridiculous too.

So far I've only skipped maybe two episodes. Gonna be a much greater struggle to watch the non-Mulder episodes, which is pretty much the rest of the two seasons. But I guess I have gotten this far, may as well go all the way, especially as I don't think I saw much at all of 8 & 9 previously.

Yeah, particularly the first half.

I thought..
The Saviours were pretty generous considering. Fingers crossed for one of the newer characters getting their head caved in, such as Kenny Powers, ginger Mike Haggar or Fio from Metal Slug.
