It's not that, your can tell by watching it that the demographic is clearly aimed at teens. Other than that it's not bad.

I just started (re)watching S1 of X-files myself! :-o

I didn't realise so many good episodes I remember were in the first series.

It is a bit dated, and I can't quite get the same level of immersion into it, as I did watching it when I was younger, but I am enjoying it nonetheless.

It's aways had that odd feeling especially with the erie sound track playing in the background, But I think they've change the Scully Moulder dynamic i.e Scully used to be the sceptical one now it Mulder that doubts most cases.

Just started re-watching Season 2 and up till now there have been a few occasions where Mulder has been skeptical / dismissive, compared Scully, particularly recent episodes.

I'm gonna hang fire seeing the new season till I get up to about season 5. If I recall it really started to get a bit boring about there, and there's no point watching every season, I'm particularly not interested in seeing the season/s without Mulder.

Watched Better Call Saul and enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be goofier, but there was a bit of real acting happening which was welcomed. Great first season and lots of potential in this one.

Also got hooked on Parks and Rec, I almost never go for anything resembling a sitcom, but this **** is hilarious
Ron, Tom, and April are probably my favorite characters not including Leslie. I loved Amy when she was in UCP back in the day, she's quite a versatile actress:  http://colordonor.blogspot.com/2011/11/ ... -egos.html

Don't watch Shadowhunters.... The Mortal Instruments series.... Unless you want to see loads of pristine cardboard cutouts who can't act for toffee plus boring **** writing and directing. I guess it's worth it just for a laugh.... Such terrible ****.

I went to the Mortal Instruments movie in the cinema. I had a free ticket expiring that night. I should have just stayed home that night.

I tried watching that and it sent me to sleep a few times. Tried a second time and couldn't finish the movie.

The reason I tried the TV series is that the people involved said that it would be better suited to TV. Nope! Never read the books, gonna stay that way.

Started watching The Magicians (2015) tonight. Pretty cool.

After being recruited to a secretive academy, a group of students discover that the magic they read about as children is very real-and more dangerous than they ever imagined.

Yeah The Magicians is indeed good at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way. It's Harry Pottay for grown ups if peeps were wondering.
