I wish I could, but the flippin thing isn't working at the moment - it seems to have power (green led lit), but no picture.
I know that it was missing a Ground line on the end most Jamma connection, but after rigging up a test wire it still doesn't work.
Going to have a further look this evening, maybe 5v is too low - better get the old Franc-o-Meter out!

Re: What's the best mutli game Jamma PCB?
OK,
So I did some more testing tonight and established that the missing ground (which I resolved by fitting a temporary wire), isn't the issue.
It seems that the cause is a synch problem, which means that my TV's (LED and my old trusty Sony CRT) don't like to display a picture. I left it one for a couple of minutes and managed to get into a game and heard the sound.
I then tested it on my Mini Cute and good news - I now get a display, , but bad news - I can't add a coin using the coin mech (It only runs from the internal coin button which is not practical).
Also P1 and P2 start buttons do not seem to work, so you have to constantly wait for a time out - if the game has it.
I checked the config of the Jamma pinouts and it seems strange that I get the coin and start issues on the cute, as the cute uses the same pinouts for starts and coin.
I really don't want to touch the loom on my cute at any costs, so I guess if I want to keep this thing I will have to open it up and rewire it somehow.

Exact same issues as you that I managed to fix.
bridging pin 14 to 1 on the PCB edge connector for video ground fixed it for me. The reason the P1 and P2 buttons are most likely not working is because the PCB is not properly grounded yet.

My Bad, I thought you were talking about the ground wire I already fixed.
Will crack on tonight!

Oldirty, quite honestly for the games you mention, I think the 60-in-1 will probably do fine. Plug and play and under £50 on arcadeworlduk. If you don't like it then at least it was cheap and easy.
Personally, I'd prefer Groovymame. It's the best option for every scenario, but the advantages are mostly noticeable in scrolling games. For just those few single screen classics the 60-in-1 will be almost as good but cost less in money, effort, space and electricity.

Re: What's the best mutli game Jamma PCB?
Hello - new on this forum, so please bear over with me
I'm interested in a Neo Geo multicard, but I don't know what to go after. I have a New Astro City (6-button).
What's the difference between these to carts - and will they both be compatible with a 6 button setup?
This has a cable with a card?

This does not have the cable with card?

Hi
I own the second yellow 161 in 1 card and you can just put it in your MVS and it should work. MVS has just a 4 button layout. I'm pretty satisfied with that, even it got lots of "special" editions.

Really, AFAIK, there are NO 6 button games for NEO-GEO. Only 4 buttons.8BiTw0LF wrote:HiBut do I need a Kick-Harness to get all 6 buttons working? I know some of the King of Fighters games is born with 6-button config.
The cart with the small PCB and a cable will let you edit the game list so you can remove games you never play. It takes about 5 times longer to load a game than the yellow cart too, if that's important to you.

Why does my New Astro City come with 6-buttons then? Pretty sure I read somewhere that you can setup a 6-button scheme for some of the KOF games, maybe I read wrongemphatic wrote:Really, AFAIK, there are NO 6 button games for NEO-GEO. Maybe the 6-buttons is for CPS2/3?

Re: What's the best mutli game Jamma PCB?
6 buttons is definitely for CPS1/2/3, Killer Instinct, Daioh...
All Neo Geo games are 4 buttons, and the only KOF games that didn't use 4 buttons were the Atomiswave ones (Neowave and XI, they use 5).
