Nice little set of cabs.

Every time I see a pic of a Vewlix, I always fancy getting one. Shame I don't have room.

I used to play SFEX at collage on a dinner time happy times, I know it's not to everybody's taste but I quite like it even today plus the sound development on the ZN1/ZN2 hardware is fantastic :)

Dude,

Just spotted this in your website. :-o

I've been looking for this for years, but never remembered the full title of the book. I went through two copies of these back in school and from seeing just one of the pages I knew it was the one!

I think I missed a cheap copy on eBay recently, but found an alleged 'Very good condition' one on Amazon.

yay!

That's one mighty fine setup you got there tart! :awe:

My latest addition. Just been playing it for the past couple of hours, for what is basically the first time ever...after all these years :wtf:

Really enjoyable beat em up. Hooked up the CN5 just to make sure it isn't stereo sound. Sadly not. Interestingly tho, it seems like the left channel has a bit of a music bias, whereas the right channel has a bit of a Sound effects bias. A bit of L/R volume tinkering, and it almost sounds like it is stereo.
I was playing around with a couple of motherboards (older/longer/10mhz vs newer/shorter/dash/12mhz) and noticed that the newer revision board has clearer audio, and doesn't have any slow down when things get a bit hectic on screen. Apart from that, pretty much identical.
Seeing as I'm not working tomorrow, i'll be playing this again for breakfast.

I was speaking to a friend about a year ago about it and he ended up borrowing me his copy to read but just after I gave it back I started searching for one on eBay. I managed to find the one on my blog for around £5 shipped which is pretty much it's original price :) I always loved reading through the SSFII arcade section at the back as a kid - also if you look close they're using the pre production version of super. Since finding the player's guide I started buying a couple of other magazines from back in the day and I tracked down a copy of EGM2 April 1995 'Street Fighter Legends' magazine which I had also bought as a kid. SFL was the beta name for Street Fighter Alpha the magazine shows some nice beta images of the game in development.
