The could be the best speakers I ever heard but I could never live with them.
I keep thinking I might upgrade my speakers this year but I fundamentally love the sound so I'd have to be very careful. A used pair of these would be the dream but I'd probably need some acoustic treatment:

Are then PM-3 good? They're not that expensive considering what the lcd's cost.

I really like them. I still have my B&W P7 which I will part with eventually if I keep reaching for these. The P7 have lower, tighter bass, higher highs and separate instruments more precisely but there's something very warm and musical about the PM-3. They're really forgiving of crap mastering and easy to listen to. The sound signature reminds me a bit of the Sennheiser Momentum but more refined in all areas. They look fantastic too.

Experience in a great many systems has shown that Brilliant Pebbles can sometimes effect the sound in unpredictable ways. So, some experimentation is usually necessary to establish ideal locations for Brilliant Pebbles in a given room/system.
In other words they do **** all, and if you believe otherwise you're an idiot.

The original glass bottles for Brilliant Pebbles have been replaced by clear zip lock bags, which have a more linear response than glass.
Good god, how do these people still manage to look into a mirror?
