ah suzuka wasnt the worst of these and not as bad as gp rider :problem: , that was other crap , infact when you think of it bike racing must be the worst genre of arcade games there is or has the higher precentage of **** anyway, lured in by a "bike" spend most of the time not making corners

although tha mame video does make it look worse than it was

Tbh, I'm not sure what it was. I even said GP Rider at first, then I edited to Sukuka 8 Hours after googling again. You're right in that they're all equally ****. Look, here's Suzuka 8 hours 2, other than the driver making it on time now, what's the difference?..

i never played 2 and dont remember ever playing any other track on suzaka 8 hrs other than suzuka so maybe 2 is just more tracks ?
gp rider at the time looked ok ,similar styling to f1 exhaust note and a few other or was it ground effects  , but no where near as good. in fact suzuka and gp rider (if it was that )didnt last too long in the local arcade either

some cyber bike game did alot better than them and was actually ok iirc i thik a couple of drivers went in ,in between

actually im sure they heard of a guys buying 9 credits and decided to move them all over there :awe:

 I expect freeplay was just the latest price trial. If I'd ever played it again it might have been set to pay out on each credit.

Shantae and the Pirates Curse.

I've never played a Shantae game before, which is a crime. This is brilliant. It's like WestOne carried on.

And sometimes a bit WestOne Carry On.

The dramatic battle modes in SF Zero Fighter's Generation on PS2 are amazing with a friend. Pure stupid fun.

Zero has you face off against Adon, Sagat, Vega and then Gouki. You can pick from any characters in the game, and you both share the same lifebar and super meter. What makes it fun is the fact that the CPU deals huge damage. For example HK Scissor Kicks from Vega that hits both players is an instant KO. :awe:

Zero 2 is pretty much the same, with the difference that your super meter is always at LVL 3. Picking two Gouki's and just trying to Shungokusatsu everything all the time is brilliant. Madness!

In Zero 3 you fight against a much longer row of foes and both characters have separate lifebars. Unfortunately the opponents don't put as much of a fight as they do in the ones above. It feels more 'complete' as a game especially because of the combo system in Zero 3 but for some reason it's not as exhilarating because of the lack of challenge. Still highly recommendable.

After playing these the only fun left in the co-op mode of Fatal Fury is hitting your friend in the back with a projectile and pretending it wasn't on purpose. :shifty:

Fighter's History Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu. It's fun.

Just posting here to say that the tag mode is not worth anyone's time. In this mode the screen won't scroll, tagging causes the game to pause and the music to restart.

Heh ta. It's a pretty damn addictive game that pushes your physical limits to the very edge that's for sure, but it's so satisfying when it slowly starts to fall into place and you start to slowly progress. I'm only clearing 6's at the moment. I've had a try at a few 12's to see what's ahead of me....insane! I'll get there eventually though hopefully. I just wish I started playing this game years ago. So good.

I was playing Express btw. Backup obviously , I'm not paying £150 :/

That's a great setup. I've tried Beatmania for two or three times and I could only clear the easiest songs.

I'd also like to know what that song is in your intro bit. I remember hearing it in some Gaki No Tsukai clips.

@Jan: hah that's funny :) The song is called 'Rizing You Up' I'm still an extreme beginner at it so I have years of practice to go yet before I get half decent. No rush though :)

http://youtu.be/SDYQTet5DtU

@TheRedKnight: yeah I'm happy with it, it's a little uncomfortable sitting in the floor, though. Luckily the fun outweighs the dead legs :) It's a pretty tough game isn't it, I'm determined not to give up on it this time.

The intro song is the final battle music from the Japanese version of the Street Fighter Anime. Cool fight too :)

Ah, thanks. Now that I remember it, the girl who was on Gaki No Tsukai sang the "theme song" for the movie.

I will try and spend four hours on the bus today by becoming not-as-**** on Pac-Man. :shifty:
