It was decent. Good thinking of them to keep a certain death off screen too.

I’ve only seen ep1-4, but it’s moving too fast for me. I’d like to get to know characters a little better before they kill em off. :lolno:

I’ve marathoned the Wachowski’s show sense8. Pretty mixed feelings on this experimental show. Similar in ways to Cloud Atlus, which I loved, but also even more scattered and jolting with it’s 8 different story arcs that sometimes randomly cross over into each other (usually in gimmicky ways). Great production, pretty damn good acting, lots of gay sex :-|
I just don’t know what to think in the end.

On ep 5 of sense8.... It's super ghey... It's an LGBT piece with some sci if thrown in. People will say... It's got some hetero sex too... Well it does but it's treated and shot in a negative way, where as the ghey sex is presented as loving and meaningful. So far anyway... Dialogue is super cheesy and it all feels like when the TV series, Heroes got crap. I dunno if I can persevere.

Three episodes in. I think it sucks.
aaaand stopped watching it.
The show is utter crap. Horribly acted. Badly scripted. And absolutely boring. It probably has the worst intro I have seen in a long time.

That’s kind of a stretch. Out of the 8 characters, 2 are gay, 2 don’t have romance, and 4 have hetero relations.

Intrigued to know what on earth you're bleating on about here but I won't be watching Sense8, not because gay sex bothers me in the slightest but because everything the Wachowski's have done since the first Matrix has been abysmal.

Also, there's no "H" in gay, unless you're 13.

Well if you are asking what on earth I'm "bleating" about.. Then give it a watch. The gay sex didn't bother me as much as how it was written vs gay sex.
And for your information... the 13 year olds I learned "ghey" from was on this very forum.... One of the mods or well established members for that matter.

aye wasnt expecting to be" filled in " a certain things so early,i enjoying that it seems somebit fast paced.I'm sure there are flaws but the ,setting, acting ,story and development have been good so far ,so lets hope it continues.

Sense8 firmly taken off the to watch list, havent heard 1 or even a glimmer of a decent review yet.

Well I guess people will have to watch it and make up their minds then. It's not a stretch from my point of view. And anyway... what does the amount of gay to straight characters ratio have to do with this work being an LGBT piece or not? Most films I've seen that have gay themed and story lines, no matter the billing, will have straight characters out number the gay characters anyway! Such is life itself!

Look before I'm gonna get painted as some Nazi gay basher.... I'm just gonna have bow out here because I don't think people can say much these days without being labled something or the other.

A friend of mine (with similar taste in television) said Sense8 started fine, was meh for a while but hellagood in the end. I'll probably skip it though as their stuff's been **** post The Matrix except Belluci's cleavage in the first of the sequels.

I'll let you guys know if it's good, since I've made it to ep5 and it is improving. It is a hell of a slog though.
