Around October 2013, got a PM from an arcade forum contact telling me that a couple of "project" ponies we on sale at Heart of Gaming (HoG).
Contacted Mark of HoG. I happened to be in Ealing, London that weekend for a wedding so went round to see what was on sale:
Pony No 1

Pony No 2

These were the "runts" of the cabs that Mark had picked up from Trocadero, London. Mark needed the money to fund purchase of some Xbox One(s). I did not look at the cabs for more than 5 seconds. We shook hands on a deal.
They were sold to me as "Non Workers" / "Projects".
Couple of "workers" that Mark and his team were working on at that stage:

Four almost ready to be used in situ at HoG at that stage:

Early January 2014, went to HoG to pick up the two dismantled cabinets and got them home:

Cleaning the Monitor Frame. The frame turned out to be incorrect for the cabinet and has not been used:

All items were taken to a local powder coaters and back within a week.
I am really happy with their work and highly recommend them. Keep Powder Coating, based in Uckfield. Cost £100 per cabinet. Wouldhave been cheaper if I had taken both cabinets in one go instead of one by one.

Close Ups of some of the items:

Cabinet being put together:

Getting there. Plain Control Panel.

Buttons and Joysticks received from Arcade World. Powder coated Control Panel:

Marquee : Just a Print of a Internet Picture, laminated and but to size. No light in box:

Got the lightbox up and running. Not bad. going to get some cut to size glass or acrylic to sandwich the marquee between.

The screen is a Makvison 29" VGA:

Really pleased with ow its turned out :
