Re: Girlfriend's Grandma's Game Center

I love that even after his rant, he took his moral responsibility to fairly score the game seriously. And soldiered on through the game with professional critique.

It reminds me of a review I once saw of a charming little shop local to me...

http://m.yelp.co.uk/biz/paperlane-gifts ... eastbourne"

...He praises the shop and then gives it 3/5. Is he comparing it to Harrods? I dunno, it just makes me laugh how seriously some internet bloke has taken his job as a reviewer. Such a strict scale. What would it take for the prestige of a 5 from this corner-shop-cultivated man?

Hmmm, a Mahjong review site that uses an erection scale to score the game...

Ralph, get the camera, I have an idea!

Weren't you guys a little premature in calling it junk?

Looks like most of them work...and just need a little cleaning, maybe a new CP.

Sure, they're not worth much in Japan, but it's not like his intention was to sell them all in Japan. Overseas, the prices he's asking are quite fair especially considering the vast majority of them are still working. Some of them are even in quite good condition, and the Consolettes and Green Aero Cities are rather uncommon. Not something you see every day, that's for sure.

Fees for the container, shipping, customs, loading, trucking, storage... might have to double those quoted prices are you are looking at for a more accurate figure. Regardless, mad props to Grandma's Daughter's Boyfriend for making this happen 8-)

I'm fairly sure only one or two people thought there "might" be a lot that are junk

Unless I'm mistaken, the prices he is asking includes all that.

This is correct. These prices include shipping to the US and storage. If people need them shipped from CA to whereever, they will be more.

Considering those prices already include getting them to the USA, they're extremely fair if not downright excellent deals.

I've put my name down for aeros number 6 and 27.
But we need enough to fill a container :)

And if anyone in Europe wants to add one to a UK container I could ask my mate to ship them out to you, but an extra shipping cost might work out a bit much... Just an idea :)
