<trk>:I remember catching a big fat one and my friend said "throw it back in, that one already tastes like wood"
Star Gladiator 2. I didn't pay that much for it, but it's somewhat expensive, I assume. But it sure is my most prized and most played PCB. Awesome game.
I also love my Breakers kit more than a man should love cardboard and stickers. Oh, and I do want to hump my Battlantis and Vandyke boards quite often.
Speaking of expensive purchases, I won't buy a game that I personally think is expensive. That means I will never pay over 100 euros for a game.
I've spent out on a couple of my most wanted games....Bubble Bobble I imported from the US when I first started collecting, that was £150 inc. shipping so modest by today's prices.
Mega Twins cost me over £100, as did Rainbow Islands and Rainbow Islands Extra.
My most prized pcb is definitely my Bubble Symphony prototype. I did a little white wee when I got that.
Ibara is the most expensive board I've got now.
Followed by SSF2X then AVP
Although I don't feel like I've spent money on them as such as I'm sure they'd sell for what I paid if I wanted the cash back
I've bought a few Cave titles on release, all of which I still have. A buzz I really miss. The most expensive PCB I ever bought is probably Akai Katana Limited Version because that couldn't be bought from the likes of Fujita at a discount and the exchange rate wasn't nice. It's also one of my most prized possessions, wonderful fan-service. I have Cave kits that are probably worth more than that though.
My most expensive PCB is probably SDOJ since I bought it new, and back when the exchange rate was around 80yen to the dollar.
My most prized PCB is probably DBAC. Just need to get that Taito amp sound wiring going.
I've bought many expensive PCBs/ cartridges that have since then decreased in value, but my most overpriced PCB would be a conversion of Cyvern...misread the auction and found out after the purchase that it was a conversion...
The PCB I paid most for is probably DeathSmiles when the kit was still quite expensive (600 Euro).
My prized possesions are Ketsui (last revision) and Armed Police Batrider B Version...bought them both pretty cheap.

I just love that game and it brings back memories
Why would that sound weird? One of my most prized PCBs is Splatterhouse. I just love the series and like you with SF2, it's got great sentimental value for me.
