Yeah 25" CRT fellas. The depth is actually 42cm, due to the shape of the case around the neck of the tube, so it looks "thinner" than it actually is in practical terms. Utterly superb 4:3 sd picture via rgb scart, you won't do better for retro gaming.

Tube is made by philips, there design etcpubjoe wrote:I'm tempted too. Absolutely no need for it but it does look lovely.![]()
I too gathered that it's 25". And yes, it must be witchcraft. They even made a wallmount for it.Actually, In the late CRT era (when this was made), I bought a cheapo set and that was surprisingly thin and light too. Because mine was cheap (Goodmans I think), at the time I assumed that perhaps a short tube length is a sign of poor quality - but I dunno. It might just be that in later years they were able to make the ray more accurate at short distances. It'd be interesting to hear about this from someone who knows what they're talking about!
Duck Hunt should just work. It's an SD CRT and the gun will "see" the same signal as it would any other set. Again though, if someone who actually knows what they're talking about wants to chime in here, that's great.

Wowsers. Spotted this too. I wonder how effective it would be.. It would get on my nerves with it being see-thru. Maybe it's just a show piece and it's impractical.

Man, those full caps listings on ebay **** me off every time. Brits seem to think an all in caps description sells better...

Looking good. You getting some? I need to figure out what Large is to me. Rainbow Islands & Flying shark are probably my biggest pcbs.
This might fight the bill: 35 x 30 x 10: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Plain-Woo ... 4ab84a04a3"
