Lads, what do you think is a reasonable price for one of these cocktails?

I've been lusting after one one for bloody ages (well, I've wanted an Aero table, but would rather one of these as it would go with my current SNK cab, I just didn't think it would be possible to ever find one) - It's the first time I've seen proper pictures of the SNK version too. The only picture previous was the one with three of them stacked on top of each other. They seem pretty damn rare.

Would I be completely mental to pay €1400? This is before shipping, so we'd probably be talking €2000 total.

If so, what do you think is a reasonable amount? Any idea what an Aero Table is worth to compare?

Have you factored in import duties etc ...tbh with all cabs they are worth what you are willing to happily pay ..i think 2000 all in is overpriced for what it is , but thats just my opinion

Yeah, I think you're right. Tack on duty and that's another possible 23% extra. :(

****, may just have to leave it so. As much as it kills me.

Curses on whoever pointed it out to me in the first place :D

In that condition, no - despite the rarity. 1400 is double the price I'd consider

He has three of them (one was missing a leg and an access panel) but one of them looks to be in pretty okay condition? Nice to see the marquee too.

Hmmm. The more I think 1400, the more mental I start to sound in my own head. I never would have considered it, until I've seen the price rarer Japanese cabs are going for these days. Haven't seen a table for sale in as long as I've been looking for one.

I was either looking for one of these, an Aero Table or a Pony III. All of which are proving to be a right bitch to come across! :(

FUUU - so if it was €2000 after shipping, it could possibly be €2460 with VAT added on. Consider me well and truly out!

His Madonna is a bargain price. Buy that. The CPs come up on YAJ reasonably often and all it needs is a clean and respray.

Logistical nightmare aside, I hate to think what might happen on the journey from the West Coast of the US all the way to Europe. It's a long way for all those solder joints to hold up!

Okay, thanks again lads. I'll just stop looking at that guy's store for fear of temptation getting the better of me.

Might pop an email off to Ronnie to see if he has anything interesting due in any time soon.

Don't forget the machines are lovely to look at but horrible to use, for me at least.

Not seen a New Versus City before...

Yeah, If I ever did get a table, it would be for vertical only. Can't imagine how it's possible playing hori games on it. I do have a tabletop vertical ikea cab supergun thing I'm putting together and the viewing angle is improved dramatically when the screen is vertical. Impossible to play when hori.

I did not enjoy playing on the sega table I had at all. I imagine it would be fine once you adjusted, but I felt it needed one of those tilt mechanics like the SNK printer.

I found hori worked better than vert, the screen curve was annoying in vert.

Spotted this a few weeks back differences between old & new Versus city, new art, new topper like a Blast, Tri-sync & JVS although never seen inside the cab.

Not a fan of table tops either myself more of a novelty item.
