The CPS1 Q-Sound beat-em-ups are awesome, it's a pity it's they're so bloody expensive. I'd love a Cads & Dinos or Warriors of Fate, but I simply don't have the finances to justify spending £200+ on a board :(

Seems like a recent development to me. I find myself wishing I'd picked up a lot of stuff I held off on recently. This hobby is only getting more expensive :problem:

I don't "collect" console stuff. I have a small selection of retro essentials though.

That's a joke of a price. I really love the game but I wouldn't pay that even if I had a million.

I know you don't just 'collect', but you do like kits and your only buy the right stuff. I ment you do keep and care so much for the console stuff do you like you do arcade gear. :awe:

Best way, although, I have just spent a lot on mint, boxed Super Famicom games, which kills me as I had most about 8 years ago and I sold them for peanuts and not paying way more for the same stuff.

But yeah, eBay has ruined the video games hobbie imo. To many people like that above deciding that things need to be worth loads for no reason! :(

We had a conflab about this on here not so long ago. eBay has deffo changed and you can't easily pick up bargains the way you used to be able. The retro scene has grown too, which means more people fishing in the same finite pool of stuff.

Look on the bright side, everything you already own will also have increased in value.

Nope because I sold it all for peanuts about two years ago!
